RE: Fetching Hbase data through HiveVivek Mishra 2011-12-17, 08:21
You need to create external table in Hive.(managed by Hbase)
Versions: Hive: 0.7.x Hbase: 0.90.4 Hadoop : 0.20.X I tried to get this working on version/s > than above mentioned, but no luck. you can refer blog http://mevivs.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/hivehbase-integration/ for more in details. ________________________________________ From: Mohammad Tariq [[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 16 December 2011 00:44 To: user Subject: Fetching Hbase data through Hive Hello all, Is there any way to fetch the data from a table which is already present in Hbase using Hive directly??Or do I need to create the corresponding table in the Hive first??
