One correction. I meant the releases page just don't reflect 0.20.1, not 0.21 as I said. Oops.

Understood there hasn't been a HDFS or MapReduce release yet. I think it would be a little confusing to someone new downloading the way it is. I think I agree with the fix you suggest on the documentation. Not sure this addresses the release page. You mention there hasn't been a release for HDFS/MapReduce yet but going to the HDFS/MapReduce pages it looks like there have been a ton of releases ( i.e., it reflects pre-project split ) except that it doesn't include 0.21. Seems to me for the releases pages for HDFS/MapReduce they should change ( at least temporarily ) to indicate there hasn't been a release yet for those sub-projects and point to the releases page for common.
I'll go ahead file jiras for HDFS/MapReduce and submit a patch.
Thanks
Andy

There are in fact, no releases yet of HDFS and MapReduce, since they
were split out a couple of months ago. The proper fix is to remove
their 0.20.0 links and make them point to the documentation for the
common 0.20.1 release documentation. Please file a jira in HDFS and
MapReduce and attach a patch relative to the documentation in
