Pig  team is happy to announce Pig 0.10.0 release.

Apache Pig provides a high-level data-flow language and execution
framework for parallel computation on Hadoop clusters. More details

The highlights of this release are boolean datatype, nested
cross/foreach, JRuby udf, limit by expression, split default
destination, tuple/bag/map syntax support, map-side aggregation. The
