Hi Hari,
One query: Aren't we releasing hadoop-2.0.0-alpha related binaries of
Sqoop? See 1.4.2 artifacts: http://www.apache.org/dist/sqoop/1.4.2/.

My apologies if I have ignored any of the related discussions. But things
don't seem to be in sync somewhere - I quickly checked build.xml in source
artifact, it still supports packaging sqoop-x_hadoop-2.0.0-alpha.

Thank you for noticing this Abhijeet, we definitely do want to create Hadoop 2.0.0 compatible artifact. I've checked the "How to release" wiki page and we actually missed this there, so I've fixed that.

I'm afraid that we can't simply add new tarball and continue in the vote. Hari, would you mind restarting the vote?

I've also took a look on the artifacts and they seems fine to me. I've run tests and checked license files and other top level files.

Thanks Abhijeet & Jarcec. I will build the hadoop 2 tarball and upload it
to the same location and start a vote. I built it and then did not upload
it, because the release page did not mention it, so I decided against it.

As Hari mentioned, I'm having issues with updating webpages. It seems that it's some environmental issue on site build server, so I've filled INFRA-5955 [1] to get help from Infrastructure team.

I do not feel right to send the announce with webpages advertising old version. Also at the same time it looks weird when we have voted bites available and we're not sharing them. Thus I would suggest following - let's focus on getting the webpages working, if we won't be able to get them working by end of day Monday, let's send the announce anyway. Would that make sense to everyone?
