Are you all happy to use JIRA for tracking and Confluence for wiki? If so, we can fire off the relevant tickets.

So, any of you can file JIRAs for INFRA to ask for a JIRA project and some Confluence space.
Alan, do we need to ask Infra for help with svn, or can some ipmc member take care of that.

+1.
Any chance this also comes with a standard git repo that parallels the svn repo? Or this something that needs to be maintained separately?
Thanks!

Jesse I found this while looking around to see if existing apache projects use git. http://git.apache.org/Keith On Fri, Sep 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM, Jesse Yates <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > +1. > > Any chance this also comes with a standard git repo that parallels the svn > repo? Good call Keith - probably should have checked that root. I'm full +1 then on just using apache's svn to back accumulo. -Jesse Yates On Fri, Sep 16, 2011 at 12:38 PM, Keith Turner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Jesse > > I found this while looking around to see if existing apache projects use > git. > > http://git.apache.org/> > Keith > > On Fri, Sep 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM, Jesse Yates <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >wrote: > > > +1. > > > > Any chance this also comes with a standard git repo that parallels the > svn > > repo? Should I put in an INFRA ticket for this now, or should we wait until we have our accounts?

It might be a good idea to wait until all the accounts are created unless you guys are itching to start work right now. However, it's my understanding that the software grant has not been sent in yet. Regards, Alan

We're working the software grant on our end. We have learned that we will be able to submit a software grant without modifications, with the following as Exhibit A:
"1.Accumulo source code and documentation*
*note: Accumulo was developed as a collaborative effort between US government employees and private industry contractors, and as such it is a mix of copyrighted and public domain materials. The copyright license is granted only for those materials for which there is copyright."
We don't yet have a solution for the CCLA that doesn't involve modifications (detailed in the incubator proposal), so we'll need to find out whether a modified version will be accepted and/or come up with an alternate solution.

It would be a "site" subfolder of the normal svn repo.
