Could you check whether the Job is getting submitted to Job Tracker or is it running in local mode. You can verify the same by seeing the Job Id.

Subject: why mapred job can not catch the current running job?
i use TestDFSIO lauch a job,and use mapred job to observer running job status ,but it seems no any job catched,why?
