TestEmptyInputDir failed with hadoop-1.1.1lulynn_2008 2013-02-25, 11:10
Hi All,
I am using pig-0.10.0 with hadoop-1.1.1, and following tests failed with the information: Testcase: testSkewedJoin took 45.001 sec FAILED expected:<0> but was:<2> junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: expected:<0> but was:<2> at org.apache.pig.test.TestEmptyInputDir.testSkewedJoin(TestEmptyInputDir.java:86) Testcase: testMergeJoin took 34.742 sec FAILED expected:<0> but was:<2> junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: expected:<0> but was:<2> at org.apache.pig.test.TestEmptyInputDir.testMergeJoin(TestEmptyInputDir.java:119) Testcase: testFRJoin took 28.432 sec FAILED expected:<0> but was:<2> junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: expected:<0> but was:<2> at org.apache.pig.test.TestEmptyInputDir.testFRJoin(TestEmptyInputDir.java:153) Question: The code is following, this shows that when using hadoop-1.0.*, the assert code will not be run. I think the situation should be the same with hadoop-1.1.1. Is this correct? As from job.xml, I found the correct ">mapred.map.tasks" is 0 but not 2. // This assert fails on 205 due to MAPREDUCE-3606 if (!Util.isHadoop205()&&!Util.isHadoop1_0()) assertEquals(0, js.getNumberMaps()); +
