Re: negotiated timeout
I was looking for 'Created server with tickTime' in zookeeper log but didn't
find any.

hbase used to have the following:
<property>
<name>hbase.zookeeper.property.tickTime</name>
<value>6000</value>
</property>

but 0.90.1 no longer honors it.

I don't know to explain the difference in timeouts:

2011-03-24 20:46:37,881 INFO org.apache.zookeeper.server.NIOServerCnxn:
Established session 0x12ebb99d686dfd4 with negotiated timeout 180000 for
client /10.202.50.103:21705
2011-03-24 20:46:37,882 INFO org.apache.zookeeper.server.NIOServerCnxn:
Established session 0x12ebb99d686dfd5 with negotiated timeout 60000 for
client /10.202.50.114:2552

Regards
