RE: Bulk Ingest data latency [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]
Data is available immediately. The counts on the monitor wont update until a compaction occurs.

UNOFFICIAL

When doing a bulk ingest and importing a directory of rfiles, should the new data be available immediately or do I need to trigger a compaction to bring the new data online?

Thanks in advance,
Matt
