Just curious - is there some way to do a remote connection? we have a few people here in Austin and one in Colorado at the Dachis Group that may want to participate.

I'll see what we can do for that. Not sure if the room I reserved is
hooked up for teleconferences. Just an offer: if anyone wants to fly me to LA (or Austin or Colorado) I'll
collaborate with anyone, Paul Erdos style. Glad to see lots of interest for this. It'll be great to have a lot of devs with a lot of points of view. 2012/4/18 Dmitriy Ryaboy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I'll see what we can do for that. Hey Dmitriy,
Can you count me in for the event? I'm interested in helping out, or being a fly on the wall. I'm currently a novice user though. Ben,
A big part of such events is helping novices get more comfortable with pig, and hopefully helping them on the road to being a productive part of the community. At a minimum, regarding remote participants, we can Skype. I have a good mic, and I can setup a little external camera.

Cool - tx Russell et al. I'm talking with the higher ups here to see if we want to make it a general pig training and hacking day - we have lunch time training things here where we go over <technology> 101, 202, etc. Maybe we'll organize something like that for this area and hack alongside people there. Would be great to take part somehow - perhaps also contributing to something like pig + mahout or bugs or general tickets or ide integration or something. Anyway, so waiting to hear back on scale of involvement.
