Thought I'd check up on this one again.
Seems like SSL is fairly available in the modules now but I don't see an easy way to scoop in and check a client certificate.
I submitted a JIRA ticket, didn't see much in terms of feedback.

I may want to bound events if the header doesn't have information that matches the client cert.
