We (m6d.com) have released a implementation of the rank feature to github:

We are doing some extra-credit string conversion that probably can be
optimized for some extra performance if anyone is interested in a fork

Maybe someone can setup a site to accept user upload UDF or UDAF jars.
Like cpan for perl, aur for archlinux. :D
