I want to start installation of Apache HBase, what is the best Linux distro
for it? Recommend to me please !!!
I need to store network traffic log

I think it is the CentOS,before starting installation, I just made a
research on best linux, and I encountered that some guys had bad
experienced on Ubuntu and some other distros.

RedHat, or Centos is the best.
(Its the same thing... well sort of... ;-)

You can use other distros but YMMV and you need to make sure that you're not using the Open Source JDK but Sun's errr... I mean Oracle's JVM.
