I have tried that and I got the following error:

when I checked the processlist on the MySQL server I got the following:

I have removed all the old sqoop files and downloaded a fresh one, I used
"ant clean package -Dhadoopversion=100"
moreover I have tried to compile it with -Dhadoopversion=20 &
-Dhadoopversion=23 ... still getting errors with no success.
