Is there anything out there that allows you to issue Pig queries/scripts through a browser/UI?
Thanks, Prashant

I believe that could be used only with Cloudera distro? Wow, interesting. Yulia, do you know anything more about this (is it yours?) Curious to see how it works. Neat. Would be good to read some more about it, may be a blog post or some doc? Thanks, Prashant On Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at 11:34 AM, Dmitriy Ryaboy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Wow, interesting. This is not mine. But it is a friend's of my coworker. He came in and showed it to us. I think it is still in very early stages, but I think it can be used as a good way to start playing with pig. I think there is a video on the website demonstrating how it works.

The illustrate button is very useful. It shows you how some sample input data are transformed through a series of PIG commands, as represented by the corresponding aliases, being executed. It tries to show some edge cases to show you all possible cases. Yulia On 1/19/12 3:11 PM, "Russell Jurney" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >The video looks good. No, I'm afraid not. It simply shows how the data is being transformed.I could try to suggest this feature to the creator. Hi all, thanks for your questions and interest. Our first public release will be in a few months. We'll have one or two more invite-only releases before then. To get on our invite list, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]. Data flow visualization is on the roadmap -- thanks for the up-vote!
