why do flume uses host name in flume event other than a IP address of the
system. If we need to replace host name in flume event with IP address how
its going to effect.

Take a closer look at Flume Interceptors by reading the User Manual:

http://flume.apache.org/FlumeUserGuide.html#flume-interceptors

Host Interceptor is for what you should look.
