we use Kafka trunk in production here @ http://www.medialets.com/both consumers and producers are using compiled jars of Kafka trunk with 2.9.1 the broker server is the trunk also but compiled using 2.8 never had a reason or need to change that On Tue, May 29, 2012 at 10:57 AM, Jay Kreps <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > We are not using 2.9.1 at LinkedIn, I don't know if others have experience > with that? > > -Jay > > On Tue, May 29, 2012 at 12:24 AM, 刘明敏 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Jun, > > > > Thanks for your reply. > > > > and what about the scala version, is this trunk version works fine under > > scala 2.9.1? > > > > On Tue, May 29, 2012 at 11:50 AM, Jun Rao <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > At LinkedIn, we have been testing trunk for some time and just released > > it > > > to production. > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > Jun > > > > > > On Mon, May 28, 2012 at 7:47 PM, 刘明敏 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > > > > > after encountered the retention size > > > > bug< https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-285>, > > > > we switch from branch 0.7.0 to trunk : > > > > 2a59ad76c6< > > > > > > > > > > https://github.com/apache/kafka/commit/2a59ad76c657e4aad8ee6ca67078f49d2f6017c9> > > > > > > > > > > > > we are considering putting this into production, but we don't know > > > whether > > > > this version is ready for production. > > > > > > > > and also,if convenient, which version are you using in LinkedIn? > > > > > > > > -- > > > > Best Regards > > > > > > > > ---------------------- > > > > 刘明敏 | mmLiu > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > -- > > Best Regards > > > > ---------------------- > > 刘明敏 | mmLiu > > > -- /* Joe Stein http://www.linkedin.com/in/charmallocTwitter: @allthingshadoop < http://www.twitter.com/allthingshadoop>*/
