Hi
I am getting this error when i try to create table in HBase. I uninstalled
HBase and installed it, again i am getting the same error. Can anyone tell
me reason for this error and solution.

I've not see this before.  This is on windows?  What JVM?  Same thing
if you do ./bin/start-hbase.sh?  Whats in the master log?  Does it
come up?

We see this all the time with multiple different projects. Its saying that
2 or more jars containing slf4j exists in the classpath.

What Hadoop version are you using? Which base version?

Hi,

This message is fishy, but it the table should be created: it's a warning
about the logs. Can you please try to scan (scan "tableName" in the shell)
the table to check it does exist?

It could be <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-7468> something
around HADOOP-8005? At least, I don't have this on hbase trunk (on linux),
even if I try to corrupt the classpath before launching hbase.

First of all, this is not an error, but a warning. There's a
legitimate condition
when I see the very same behaviour when running against Hadoop 2.X
in Bigtop. I've just file: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-5858

How is it catastrophic for you? Why can't you just ignore the warning?

For the first issue can you run this command :
hbase classpath | tr ":" "\n" | grep -i slf4j

This should print out all slf4j files in the classpath.  You should only
see two (api and log4j) unless you put extra things in HBASE_CLASSPATH
variable

That looks like zookeeper isn't running or your configs point to a bad zk.
